ITQAN

Industrial Engineering Lean Six Sigma and Project Management Services

Detailed service catalogue for industrial and service organizations

Purpose of this catalogue

ITQAN offers structured support to improve productivity, quality, delivery and project execution. This catalogue explains twelve established service categories, the work included in each engagement, the outputs clients receive and the evidence used to evaluate results.

Services are selected from published Industrial Engineering, operational excellence and project management offerings. Package names, scope limits and timeframes are proposed ITQAN configurations. They are not ASQ or PMI approved packages, competitor quotations or guarantees of performance.

Engagement principle

Every assignment begins with an agreed business problem and scope. We validate the baseline, investigate causes, implement approved changes and establish controls with a named client process owner. Targets are agreed after assessment.

How to select a service

Start with S03 when the priority problem is unclear. Use S01, S04 or S05 for a defined operational constraint, delay or defect. Select S09 for a project requiring a credible plan, S10 for a troubled project and S11 for a portfolio requiring consistent governance. Training supports implementation across the catalogue.

Timeframes are elapsed estimates for bounded pilots. Data collection, approvals, operating cycles and client resources may extend them. The signed proposal defines final scope and acceptance criteria.

01 Work measurement and productivity improvement

Service S01 | IE | Proposed pilot 4–8 weeks

Establish reliable work methods, capacity and staffing assumptions, then improve good output using the available resources.

Client need and standard scope

Factories with low output or overtime; administrative and service teams with backlogs or uneven workloads. One production line or service team, selected operations, one agreed shift pattern and a defined product or case mix.

Delivery activities

Agree demand, operating conditions and output definitions; review existing standards and staffing.

Observe task sequences and collect time-study or work-sampling data, including interruptions and rework.

Improve the work method before calculating standards; document performance ratings and allowances when used.

Model bottlenecks, capacity and staffing scenarios; trial revised task allocation and methods.

Compare pilot results under comparable conditions; train supervisors and transfer the monitoring routine.

Client deliverables

Time-study dataset and methods report

Capacity and manpower model with assumptions

Line or workload balance and bottleneck analysis

Standard-work sheets, pilot report and control dashboard

Measurement and acceptance

Illustrative application: A garment line can rebalance work between stations. An invoice team can redistribute tasks and remove repeat handling. These are application examples, not claimed ITQAN results.

Scope conditions and benchmark

Predetermined motion-time systems require relevant competence and any applicable licensing. Capacity released is reported separately from realized cash savings.

Published service references: R1 R2. See the benchmark register. Timelines and scope are ITQAN proposals.

Engagement and benefit verification

A consistent implementation method

Agree the problem and scope; validate the baseline; investigate causes; pilot approved changes; verify results; transfer ownership; review sustainment. Each stage ends with a short review of evidence, decisions and outstanding dependencies.

Benefits must be classified correctly

BenefitVerification basis
Realized cash savingsActual expenditure reduced, adjusted for volume, price and other relevant changes.
Released capacityHours or equipment time freed. State how the organization uses that capacity.
Cost avoidanceFuture expenditure no longer required. Retain the approved counterfactual and assumptions.
Working capital releaseInventory or receivables reduction assessed separately from recurring operating savings.
Service or quality improvementVerified improvement in defined customer or process measures; monetize only with a defensible basis.

Baseline and target agreement

Agree the metric definition, source, measurement period, process boundaries and case or product mix. Select a verification period that provides sufficient observations. Record changes in demand, staffing, prices and operating conditions. Finance or the designated client owner validates monetary claims. Avoid double counting the same improvement across projects.

Scope and commercial terms

Every proposal defines sites, shifts, processes, deliverables, review cycles, client responsibilities, consulting days, travel, specialist inputs and implementation costs. Equipment, software, testing and client implementation labor are identified separately. Added processes or materially changed requirements follow written change control.

Handover

Completion includes approved outputs, trained owners, accessible records, monitoring definitions and response rules. Any follow-up review has a specified date and scope. Service targets are agreed after assessment and are not universal guarantees.

Benchmark register

The sources below support the existence of the service categories. They do not endorse ITQAN, establish competitor prices or prove ITQAN project results. Provider examples are selective rather than a comprehensive ranking. Source basis compiled 20 October 2026 from published provider and professional-body material.
